These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TopLocalSalon.com and the services provided by Top Local Salon (“Top Local Salon,” “TLS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using our website, submitting information, claiming or creating a salon profile, purchasing a subscription or badge, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the website or services.

1. About Top Local Salon

Top Local Salon is an independent salon discovery, information, review, and business directory platform.

Our services may include:

  • Salon directory listings
  • Salon profile pages
  • Salon discovery and search
  • Editorial features
  • Salon reviews and evaluations
  • Consumer inquiry and quote forms
  • Salon owner profile management
  • Business information verification
  • Top Local Salon badges
  • Paid subscriptions
  • Featured placements
  • Advertising or promotional services
  • Other services we may introduce

 

Top Local Salon is not a salon, beauty service provider, booking agent, employer of salon personnel, or party to transactions between consumers and salons unless explicitly stated otherwise

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase paid services, manage a business listing, or enter into an agreement with Top Local Salon on behalf of a business.

If you use Top Local Salon on behalf of a company or salon, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

3. Salon Listings

Top Local Salon may create and display salon profiles using information obtained from:

  • Salon owners
  • Salon employees or representatives
  • Salon websites
  • Public business directories
  • Search engines
  • Social media
  • Public reviews
  • Publicly available databases
  • Third-party information providers
  • Other publicly available sources

 

A salon does not need to purchase a subscription or have a contractual relationship with Top Local Salon to appear in our directory.

We may add, modify, correct, reorganize, supplement, or remove publicly available business information when reasonably appropriate.

4. Claiming or Managing a Salon

Salon owners or authorized representatives may be permitted to claim or manage a salon profile.

We may require verification before granting control over a listing.

By claiming or managing a listing, you represent that:

  • You are authorized to act for the salon
  • The information you submit is accurate
  • You will keep material business information reasonably current
  • You have the right to provide submitted photographs, logos, text, and other materials
  • Your submissions do not violate the rights of another person or company

 

We may refuse or revoke profile-management access if we cannot reasonably verify authorization.

5. Accuracy of Salon Information

We try to provide useful and accurate information, but salon information can change.

Top Local Salon does not guarantee that every listing, price, service, opening hour, employee, availability, rating, photograph, address, phone number, or other piece of information is complete, current, or error-free.

Users should verify important information directly with a salon before making a purchase, appointment, journey, or other decision.

Salon owners may contact us to request legitimate corrections.

6. Reviews, Recommendations and Evaluations

Top Local Salon may independently review, evaluate, categorize, rank, feature, or recommend salons.

Evaluations may consider information such as:

  • Public customer reviews
  • Review volume
  • Review consistency
  • Business reputation
  • Services offered
  • Business information
  • Website information
  • Customer feedback
  • Public observations
  • Profile completeness
  • Information supplied by salons
  • Manual human review
  • Other relevant factors

 

Our methodology may evolve over time.

Top Local Salon does not guarantee that every user will have the same experience with a salon.

Ratings, recommendations, badges, editorial opinions, or classifications represent information or assessments available at the relevant time and should not be interpreted as guarantees of future performance.

7. Paid Services Do Not Purchase Positive Reviews

Payment to Top Local Salon does not purchase:

  • A positive customer review
  • A specific star rating
  • A favorable editorial review
  • A guaranteed ranking position
  • A guaranteed recommendation
  • Guaranteed leads
  • Guaranteed customers
  • Guaranteed revenue
  • Guaranteed SEO performance
  • Guaranteed search engine rankings

 

Where a salon has a paid commercial relationship with Top Local Salon and that relationship is relevant to content displayed to consumers, Top Local Salon may identify or disclose that relationship where appropriate.

Top Local Salon reserves editorial discretion regarding independent reviews, evaluations, and recommendations.

8. Top Local Salon Badges

Eligible salons may be allowed to display a Top Local Salon badge on their websites, social media, marketing materials, or other approved locations.

Badges may include designations such as:

  • Recommended by Top Local Salon
  • Top Local Salon recognition
  • Other TLS recognition or verification designations

 

The exact badge design, eligibility requirements, benefits, and review frequency may vary by subscription plan.

A badge remains the intellectual property of Top Local Salon.

Purchasing a subscription gives the salon a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to display the applicable badge while the salon remains eligible and the subscription remains active.

A salon may not:

  • Modify the badge in a misleading way
  • Create counterfeit TLS badges
  • Display an expired or unauthorized badge
  • Imply an endorsement broader than the designation actually granted
  • Transfer its badge to another location or business without authorization

 

We may require removal of a badge if eligibility is lost, payment stops, information becomes materially inaccurate, the salon engages in misconduct, or continued display could mislead consumers.

9. Badge Review and Verification

Different subscription levels may include different review or verification frequencies.

Periodic review does not mean that Top Local Salon continuously monitors every aspect of a salon’s operations.

A review represents an assessment based on information reasonably available when the review occurs.

Top Local Salon may change, suspend, downgrade, or remove a badge where new information materially affects eligibility.

10. Paid Subscriptions

Certain Top Local Salon services may require recurring payment.

Current pricing, features, and billing frequency will be shown before purchase.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, subscriptions are billed monthly and automatically renew at the applicable subscription price until canceled.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the applicable recurring fees and taxes to your selected payment method.

11. Cancellation

You may cancel a recurring subscription through the cancellation method provided by Top Local Salon or by contacting us at:

Cancellation stops future renewal charges.

Unless required otherwise by law or expressly stated at purchase, cancellation becomes effective at the end of the already-paid billing period.

You may continue using applicable paid features until that period ends.

We will not intentionally create unreasonable obstacles to cancellation.

12. Refunds

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase or required by applicable law, subscription payments are non-refundable once the applicable billing period has begun.

We generally do not provide prorated refunds for:

  • Partial months
  • Unused subscription time
  • Failure to use included benefits
  • Voluntary cancellation during a billing cycle

 

If Top Local Salon incorrectly charges you, contact us so we can investigate.

13. Price Changes

We may change subscription pricing or features in the future.

Any price change affecting an existing recurring subscription will be communicated in advance where required by law and will generally apply to a future billing cycle rather than retroactively.

Continued use after an applicable price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price, subject to applicable law.

14. Consumer Inquiries and Leads

Consumers may use Top Local Salon to request information, quotations, appointments, consultations, or contact from salons.

When a consumer submits an inquiry intended for a particular salon, we may transmit the submitted information to that salon.

Top Local Salon does not guarantee:

  • That a salon will respond
  • Response times
  • Appointment availability
  • Prices quoted by salons
  • Quality of service
  • That an inquiry becomes a booking
  • That a lead becomes a paying customer

 

Salons are independently responsible for responding to and handling inquiries they receive.

15. Transactions Between Consumers and Salons

Any appointment, service agreement, payment, cancellation, refund, dispute, injury, or other transaction between a consumer and a salon is between those parties.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, Top Local Salon is not a party to that transaction.

Each salon is independently responsible for:

  • Its services
  • Employees and contractors
  • Pricing
  • Scheduling
  • Licensing
  • Insurance
  • Health and safety
  • Products
  • Customer service
  • Refund policies
  • Compliance with applicable laws

 

Users should independently determine whether a salon is appropriate for their needs.

16. No Professional or Safety Guarantee

Appearance on Top Local Salon does not constitute a guarantee regarding:

  • Professional licensing
  • Insurance status
  • Health standards
  • Sanitation
  • Professional qualifications
  • Safety
  • Service quality
  • Legal compliance

 

Where we display information regarding certifications, licenses, awards, or similar credentials, users should verify important credentials independently when necessary.

17. User Content

You may be permitted to submit:

  • Text
  • Reviews
  • Comments
  • Photographs
  • Logos
  • Business descriptions
  • Service information
  • Pricing
  • Other content

 

You retain ownership of content you own.

By submitting content to Top Local Salon, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display, distribute, adapt, and use the content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, and improve Top Local Salon.

This license continues for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service or maintain historical records, subject to applicable law.

18. Content You May Not Submit

You may not submit content that:

  • Is knowingly false or misleading
  • Infringes intellectual property rights
  • Violates privacy rights
  • Is defamatory or unlawfully threatening
  • Contains malware or malicious code
  • Is fraudulent
  • Impersonates another person
  • Manipulates reviews or ratings
  • Violates applicable law

 

We may remove content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms.

19. Intellectual Property

Top Local Salon and its licensors own the rights in the Top Local Salon platform and its original content, including applicable:

  • Branding
  • Logos
  • Badge designs
  • Website design
  • Graphics
  • Software
  • Databases
  • Original written content
  • Editorial material
  • Ranking or evaluation systems
  • Compilation and organization of content

 

Except where expressly authorized, you may not reproduce, copy, scrape, republish, resell, commercially exploit, or create derivative products from substantial portions of our platform.

20. Permitted Use

You may use Top Local Salon for legitimate personal or business purposes consistent with these Terms.

You may not:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to our systems
  • Circumvent security measures
  • Introduce malware
  • Conduct fraudulent activity
  • Use automated systems in a manner that materially disrupts our services
  • Harvest personal information without authorization
  • Impersonate Top Local Salon
  • Misrepresent an affiliation with us
  • Manipulate listings, reviews, ratings, or rankings
  • Use our intellectual property without authorization

 

21. Third-Party Websites and Services

Top Local Salon may link to third-party websites, including salons, social networks, payment providers, advertisers, vendors, and other businesses.

We do not control those third-party services.

A link does not necessarily constitute endorsement of everything offered or stated by the third party.

Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.

22. Advertising and Sponsored Content

Top Local Salon may display advertisements, sponsored placements, partnerships, featured listings, or other paid commercial content.

Where required or appropriate, commercial relationships may be identified using labels such as:

  • Sponsored
  • Advertisement
  • Featured
  • Partner
  • Paid placement

 

Purchasing advertising or featured placement does not entitle a business to a fabricated positive customer review or deceptive representation of independent consumer sentiment.

23. Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or introduce features at any time.

We do not guarantee that TopLocalSalon.com will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or free from technical errors.

Temporary outages may occur because of maintenance, updates, hosting problems, security events, third-party failures, or circumstances outside our control.

24. Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Top Local Salon services if we reasonably believe a user or business:

  • Violated these Terms
  • Engaged in fraud
  • Misused our services
  • Failed to pay applicable fees
  • Misrepresented its identity
  • Abused consumers or the platform
  • Created security or legal risk
  • Used TLS branding deceptively

 

Where appropriate, we may provide an opportunity to correct the issue.

25. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOP LOCAL SALON AND ITS SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • ALL INFORMATION WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE
  • EVERY SALON WILL MEET A PARTICULAR STANDARD
  • A USER WILL RECEIVE A PARTICULAR RESULT
  • A SALON WILL RECEIVE LEADS OR CUSTOMERS
  • WEBSITE TRAFFIC WILL INCREASE
  • SEARCH ENGINE RANKINGS WILL IMPROVE
  • A BADGE WILL GENERATE ADDITIONAL SALES
  • THE WEBSITE WILL ALWAYS OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION

 

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

26. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOP LOCAL SALON AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO USE OF THE PLATFORM.

THIS INCLUDES, WHERE PERMITTED BY LAW, LOSS OF:

  • PROFITS
  • REVENUE
  • BUSINESS
  • DATA
  • GOODWILL
  • CUSTOMERS
  • BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES

 

TOP LOCAL SALON IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF INDEPENDENT SALONS OR OTHER THIRD PARTIES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOP LOCAL SALON’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM A PAID SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO TOP LOCAL SALON FOR THAT SERVICE DURING THE SIX MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.

27. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, business users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Top Local Salon and its affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors from third-party claims arising from:

  • Content submitted by that business
  • Unauthorized use of intellectual property
  • False information submitted to TLS
  • The business’s products or services
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Violation of applicable law
  • Misuse of Top Local Salon badges or branding

 

This section does not require indemnification where prohibited by applicable law.

28. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy forms part of the overall rules governing use of Top Local Salon.

29. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.

The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision.

For material changes affecting an existing paid service, we may provide additional notice where appropriate or legally required.

Continued use of Top Local Salon after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those Terms, subject to applicable law.

30. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws require otherwise.

31. Disputes and Venue

Before filing a legal claim, we encourage users and businesses to contact us and attempt to resolve the issue directly.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, legal proceedings arising from these Terms or Top Local Salon shall be brought in courts with appropriate jurisdiction located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from bringing an eligible claim in small claims court.

32. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.

33. No Waiver

Failure by Top Local Salon to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision later.

34. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented when purchasing a particular service, constitute the agreement between you and Top Local Salon regarding use of our services.
